(no subject)
Started working on a webcomic a few weeks ago, and so far i'm really enjoying it. I'm actually WORKING ON ART which is the most important part. although i'm having issues with my coloring. Not so much getting stuff done fast, that i'm doing pretty good with, but more finding a style that works for me. I'm just going to have to keep at it until i can get somewhere i'm happy.
Connecticon was this past weekend too. Which was FANTASTICO. Lots of stuff sold. I made more money at this con than i have at any other cons before, and i'm super SUPER happy about that. Pelli came with me as my lovely assistant, and she made some money herself, which is impressive since she started with pretty much nothing. No prints, or buttons, etc. Just a few sketchcards in my portfolio and a few she did on her own at lulls. Now she wants to get some actual work done so she can share a table with me next con instead of her just acting as my assistant. And i think she could because her stuff is gorgeous. Hell i think it's better than mine. So hopefully by october, when i go to the next con, she'll have more stuff ready. She's also trying to get into Pratt, so if any of you pratt alum could help me out with what i should tell her to send in, that would be a great help.
