Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't really gotten to talk to a lot of you in a while, but I stay super busy these days! But I've been up to some interesting things!
Lately, I've been reading into a lot of medical research concerning Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome, which causes rapid aging and, ultimately, heart failure and premature death, in children born with the condition. Medical findings are exciting these days, but there's still a lot that needs to be done. And none of this stuff is free.
That's where you can help. No, you don't have to donate money. But there is a website called goodsearch.com that will donate money for you. It is a search engine powered by Yahoo, so it's a good site. If you go to the site, there is a place that asks, "Who do you search for?" In this box, type in Progeria Research Foundation and click "verify." Then conduct your searches as normal every time you go to goodsearch.com. It's that simple. For every search that you do, goodsearch.com will donate 1 penny to your charity. I know that it doesn't sound like much. But as much as our generation stays on the internet, several searches a day times several friends could equal a lot of good deeds done for a very worthy charity over the course of a year.
All I'm asking for is just a little involvement. It could make a huge difference in someone's life! If you'd like a little more info about progeria or the Progeria Research Foundation, go over to www.progeriaresearch.org and let these kids touch your hearts. Thanks so much! You guys are great!
