Hippie Happy Soul Power Baby!
Today we got confirmation that we are officially a registered company and I'm a director!!! its one of our first major mile stones!
3 months ago we had an empty room now we have a company!! and its about to expand by about 4 times the size it is now!!
I know I can talk about nothing else these days but I really cant emphasize how good this all feels! I feel like I'm a big part of something so huge, so we are making one side of the new shop (assuming all goes well with our offer on next door) so one side will be an IT suite/ net cafe and they will need teachers so they are training up Bod and I to be able to teach. Its very exciting.
I have had 3D designs back from 2 companies for the play park now, Last week was so exciting, I had designers on site for the residents garden portion of the plan. They loved my idea's it was such a creative atmosphere, I cant believe how assertive I am these days...Leading these strangers who are waaaay more experienced than me, telling them what I want, how I want it to happen, reeling off objectives from the top of my head...we all worked together amazingly well...I am soo excited to see the finished designs!! we are having to get on to the fundrasiers constantly for extra money, I am very intrigued to see what the project ends up costing from start to finish.
New people are volunteering all the time so I am meeting alot of new faces, I am doing a social studies based community development course next month and a few other smaller courses, its all going on...I have also joined some kind of tenants association so I get a say in what new developments will come in to our town, apparently I'm the only 'young member' so the first meeting should be exciting lol
Cec gave me a load of her old clothes and jewellery from the 70s!! theres actually some really cool stuff, she used to be a real hippie so its awesome! she's so generous :)

I wanna say thank you to my friends for being so supportive and even making fools of themselves to make me laugh when I am sad, I am one very lucky girl xx (haw haw)
I still cant help but wonder how did it happen that in 3 months I went from being a nobody to a director of a company and project manager of a huge revamp with job security and real options? I needed this oportunity more than anything and it came...in my shitty little town.
