Just wanted to write an entry about my little boy because he amazes me more by the day, We put our christmas tree up yesterday, I let him decorate it heehee, he put all his home made decorations on, got in a bit of a mess with himself and the tinsle but man when it was finished! I had to laugh, there was nothing on it above 3 feet, seriously it was a good attempt for a toddler, he's so creative! Naturally the moment he went to bed I redecorated it so now he wows anyone that comes round by telling them he did it lol. Today we were taking a walk together and he was making me laugh so much he said he wants to chop down a tree to get lots of chips! wood chips? nope french fries, i told him they didnt come from trees and he looked confused and said "where do they come from mummy?" "potatoes silly!" we were laughing loads! The kid is amazing, we were talking about why it gets dark here early in winter, I explained it to him and he actually understands! so now if I ask him he gives me a proper explanation (if he feels like it) I asked him what he wanted to eat this evening and he said "sausages and milk please" I hoped he didnt mean together, we agreed on pasta in the end. Sometimes he says things and I dont have a clue how he learnt it, he's so so intelligent. I looked at him today and just thought that I dont think I ever want more kids, I would rather just give him everything I can.
At bedtime he has a bath and a story and I tuck him in with a kiss, and he shouts "lub you mummy!" as I leave the room, he is so affectionat, he would hug and kiss me all day if I let him. Being a parent is harder than I ever could have imagined, but its more amazing every day. I constantly wonder about the outcome of my actions in the way I raise him, he has his moments thats for sure but I wouldnt change him for the world
