Oh The Boredom!
I am so insanely bored!! it's 12:20 and I'm at work...somehow I managed to do all my tasks already so now I dont know what to do with myself, its the first official day of summer and the rain is pouring outside...I got woken up at 7:50am this morning by a fucking Kleeneze rep! hammering on my door, I didnt answer because I knew I'd go so nuts at them and thats something better done over the phone ;)
Anyway so I am just sitting here watching people go by, feeling hazy..and irritated...I find it hard to get back on track if I wake up pissed off.
Last night was the first time in weeks that I have managed to do a full exercise regime, it actually felt amazing, I took it easy and stopped as soon as I felt any pain, I was in agony in bed and started thinking I'd made a mistake but walking to work this morning I felt alive! and pain free...I really hope it lasts, my plan is to get in as good shape as I possibly can to strengthen my back and pelvis in an effort to avoid the option that keeps seeming inevitable..surgery, the thought of torturing myself a little bit each day is alot more appealling than having bones bolted together...it's easy to slip in to that mood when I feel so bloody sorry for myself but I try my best not to let that happen..I think I am finally accepting it all now, it doesnt seem so far out that I can at least manage the condition with no help...it wouldnt be the first time someone proved doctors wrong...so wish me luck :)
Well John got back from China safe, he had made some hilarious videos for me to watch, he brought me back a beautiful silk chinese jacket and a load of other Chinese stuff and he got Ethan a hovercraft!! which is the coolest toy in the world, I often want to steal it and go and play with it when Ethie isnt home heehee, it goes on ice, land and water so we took it down to the boating pool at South side, we got quite a crowd! everyone seemed impressed with it (it is damn cool!) not much to report really from the bank holiday weekend, just did some gardening and basically just relaxed, it was much deserved!
Hot topic this week has been "is war essential to evolution?" there has been a few heated debates at work from me asking that question but all good fun
