started taking vocal lessons
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any formal resolutions
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
no

5. What countries did you visit?
none :(
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
more time :P
7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
nothing that remarkable happened to me in 2007
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
getting good grades
9. What was your biggest failure?
not getting enough done, shoulda taken an extra class here and there...
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope! I'm strong like bull.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
this nice 22" widescreen LCD monitor I'm looking at
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
my friend Ted, for spoiling me both in time and sugar :D
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
A couple of people who didn't pull their own weight on projects or at work.
14. Where did most of your money go?
What little money I've made at my part-time job went mostly to buying Christmas presents and paying for musical equipment
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My new band with Mike
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Amaranth by Nightwish. I'd been waiting forever for the new album.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? About the same
b) thinner or fatter? A bit fatter, thanks to birth control (not an excuse!)
c) richer or poorer? About the same
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
More productive things. More classes. It was an accident that I ended up taking less than planned, though. Bad luck.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Websurfing. I try to keep pointless websurfing to a minimum now.

With my family, and then some more family.

The Pragmatic Programmer, I feel the advice in this book will be very good for my upcoming career

I was 24 and I went to a fancy resto with my family and godparents, whom I invited because they are educated, interesting people.

As much as I detest admitting this, having some measure of a lovelife this year would have probably been fun

Two-fold: Metal/Goth, and then more business and/or preppy-like.

The continuation of the war in Iraq is always pretty interesting. I had the chance to hear from a couple of guys who fought there, and it's funny to see even they as soldiers had opposing views.

I have a couple of friends I miss, some who moved away, some I just didn't make enough time to see.
