I am having a lark right now! Someone online said that me saying "men need more reminders" means I think men are horrible and terrible. LOL. What a load of shit!
The only reason I was posting on that thread anyway was because the OP was insinuating because our church has more male speakers that it's misogynistic. I was posting to say that it's stupid to keep a tally of which gender gives talks. If there's good advice from a man or a women, I want to hear that advice. I don't want to limit myself to what only women think-- I know I'm friends with lots of good, strong women now... but I still am of the opinion that women are crazy, petty bitches (in general). Why can't I appreciate good ideas from men and women? If 80% of talks are by men, does that mean they're not as good as 20% of talks by women? Pfft! NO! It means that 100% of the talks were good. Why do I need to divide them up by postmodernist gender stereotyping? How backwards-thinking is that?!
I'm also done with the man-hating. Masculinity isn't toxic. To say that being a masculine man is toxic... is toxic. I'm getting tired of this bullshit. What's with the hating on men? First women want to be like men, but now they don't even want men to be men? (which is probably, now that I think on it, the reason for a lot of the gender dysphoria going around where men want to compete with women in sports or dress like women... I mean, if you get perks for having tits and long hair, then why not?!
Why can't we love me for who they are? Why is this even a question?!
This world is so fucking backwards right now. I can't believe these are the sorts of conversations we waste time having these days! It's like-- no, no, I don't want to talk about something deep like philosophy. I want to question what makes a man a man and a woman a woman! Because basic biology doesn't count because science isn't science unless it's science....
