Settling Into Things

Just a quick update on things... because I haven't written anything in a while.

Motorbike Accident:Jordan is done with physical therapy (PT) and he is working full-time again. Just in time too! Whew! With the extra cheque we got in July, we should be able to pay for car insurance in Sept. Also, our insurance company finally agreed to a reasonable ( Read more... )

My mom deals with a deviated septum. For years she had continual sinus infections....I think she finally resorted to surgery, but wasn't impressed with the results. She still gets them, just not quite as often. :(

Sounds like things with the bike are sorting themselves out at last, and I'm glad to hear Jordan is okay to go back to work. I know that's been a long hard road.

Did I hear what your theme is for Halloween this year? I can't recall. I'm sure it will turn out wonderfully, though. :)

I'm hanging in there. Not a lot of updating to do. I'm at the gym almost every night. :P Just sticking with the program. Mostly. Lol!

I used to play basketball in high school. I can't remember if my septum deviated when I fractured my nose by getting smacked in the face while taking a shot... either way... I'm more annoyed with my ears. They hurt from the inside-out because my head isn't draining right. I think that has more to do with dehydration than anything, though. The snoring thing isn't bad and I've had sinus trouble for years... but my ears. Dang. I wish they'd stop hurting.

Theme for Halloween-- since last year was a bust-- is Steampunk. I've been posting pics on facebook of the embroidery I'm doing on the costume. That green velvet jacket is sure going to look AWESOME when I'm done! =D

I can totally commiserate on the ear pain front. Lol! Once in a great while...maybe 3 times a year? Not often. I will get a terrible, deep, piercing pain in the center of my head behind one or both of my ears. There's never any reason or cause, and it's usually gone by the time I can make a doctor's appointment. I just stopped trying, years ago. *shrugs*

If it's congestion, though, sometimes those terrible ear-candle things can actually help...

I'll take a look through your FB pix. I am hardly ever on there anymore, these days, so I miss everything. :P
