I think I felt it the most because i was right there less than a month ago.
It's like those 'It could have been you' moments. I rem there was once when i was sunbathing in Koh Samui Beach when Tsunami striked and I thank God i was at the other side of Thailand.
But its truly amazing that despite the Flood and News of Deaths, Missings, Losses, Damages and all else negative, I hear more Good News.
-How God protected all the Hope Church Ipswichians, and when the surrounding areas were flooded, the house i lived in remained untouched.
-Electricity is back...
-Heartwarming stories where people act selflessly and generously, rendering support to one another. Even the homeless donate their last cent, and where Love and Courage were evident in the midst of disaster.
I think in times like this, we gotta recognise that God is in control of the situation. Of the Flood. Of Everything. And its in times like this, that we either find ouselves blaming God or that we can find something praiseworthy.
It's either we come out of this calamity doubting God, or with our faith strengthened.
My hearts are with those who are grieving and who had experienced loss..
