State of Yawn
There's more Eureka than I thought! YAY!
Now, having spent 8 hours of my life in the past day viewing both versions of State of Play, I can go against what my gut says and say that, yes, the BBC version is better.
But that was to be expected.
HOWEVER. Honestly? I don't like the story. The BBC version is WAY too long and descriptive and the Hollywood version leaves everything out.
I hate feeling like I've wasted time. I think it's the appeal of the MINISERIES. You see that and you think, "Oh, this HAS to be good! Especially if it's BBC!" Not so, sayeth the Tired Meg. Look at the way Clarissa turned out. *eyeroll*
Maybe I'm still in thought-mode.
Whatever. Two of my hottie actors play Cal. So at least I got my eye candy.
Also, it's gloriously windy right now.
