*screams*
ROLL FUCKING TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*ahem*
Apologies for that. I'm through. :D But if JPW doesn't start throwing the damn ball, I swear....
Finally finished the 4th book in the Percy Jackson series. I love it so much. Reading Thr3e now. It's actually a LOT better than I thought it would be. I may actually pick up some other novels by this guy. Personally, I'm just proud of myself for reading more instead of watching movies.
I need a little more time before I update about the big news. Sorry about this, guys. It's good and then bad and then up and then down and we can't seem to get it all sorted, but I'll let ya know soon.
And all I can say about this?
Is that I really wish I had some sympathy for New Orleans, but I just don't. I know that's cruel, but if there's one thing I respect more than anything, it's Mother Nature and thinking we can beat it is just foolish. All I ask is that no one gets hurts. Prevailing is one thing, but I don't feel like they've rebuilt the way they should. Tourist areas are one thing, but HOMES should be the priority. My next door neighbor is STILL here because her home was never rebuilt. I hope people are okay, but....*sigh*
And I only caught the tail end of Obama's Saddleback thing, but I saw most of McCain's. I need to watch the whole thing. At least my mom taped it. McCain was surprising though. I'm starting to reconsider my voting.
Random post. :P
ETA: I couldn't stop reading till I found out how it finished. That was one of the most surprising twists I've EVER read in a book. Surprising and terrifying and just plain CHILLING. Wow, dude.
I'm so going to B&N tomorrow to get more of this guy's books.
