Despite yesterday starting out as a horrendous day, things did get better. Once I had gotten myself to work I learned that I was at -$160 for the day. And while that was a little annoying it happens when you work in a job that is based on commission and revenue. After about an hour or so at work my boss called and said that our District Manager wanted me to send him the numbers at 6 today, she was a little panicky because she knew that we had negative revenue due to my exchange.
That was about the time my luck turned around. About 20 minutes before I had to send in the numbers someone walked up wanting to buy an Evo. Well naturally I sold them the phone with enthusiasm and I proceeded to send our DM the numbers. Not even a minute after I hit send I had yet another customer walk up to me asking for an Evo. After selling him our last Evo with a handful of accessories I checked our revenue for the day, we were at $1166. My boss called about an hour later and when she heard that I had sold two new lines she was so happy and told me that I saved the store for the day.
Today started out rather annoying. I was looking forward to sleeping in today as it is my day off, but I had to get up at 10:30 to get my sister from school. I had planned on going back to sleep once I had gotten home, but ended up sitting on the couch and marathoning as much of the show Bones as I possibly could. At around 3:00 I went to pick up Eric from school and then we went to pick up lunch from Taco Cabana. Once we were home we finished up the episode of Bones that I had started and I then took Eric back to school.
I do have to pick Eric up in about an hour, but I am ok with that. I understand that his car is in the shop and I don't want him to have to bother his parents about a ride. Plus I enjoy the time we spend together, it is fun and is certainly better than sitting around and doing nothing. Admittedly I don't consider the show Bones doing nothing, I really enjoy it and I have to catch up to Eric as he is a far ahead of me.
I find I am loving the Netflix more and more. I love being able to stream movies from my 360, Wii, and PS3. It is also very convenient to have so many shows available to watch at any time, it means I don't have to search YouTube for fragments of shows and hoping that they are intact. Also the lack of commercials means that I get a few extra minutes of time to do things like get ready for work or clean.
Most unfortunately I am out of things to talk about for now, but no doubt I will have more to say by later tonight. If I don't I am likely to make a reappearance to post song lyrics that I have stuck in my head. Until next time, laterz.
