Year's Start

All I have to say is please don't let the rest of this year be like this week. Up until Tuesday the week was going by slowly but otherwise fine, that stopped rather abruptly with the giant crack in my windshield. Things have just gone down from there.

But not without their share of teasing. Wednesday was fine, Thursday wasn't bad, Friday started off promising to be nice and quiet. Got my hands on a cd that I've been looking for for the past 5 years, cost me 5$ and taxes. Had lunch with my mother and her friend Sheila, always nice.

Got to work and things were slower then the rest of the week.

Between the rice from Thursday, the breaded fish from lunch and the sugar in the coffee I had at 3 my blood sugar went through the roof. And my good luck crashed right along with the sugar levels.

Ended up calling my parents to drive me and my car home because I was shaking too much to drive. I'm really wondering how I finished my shift. Think drunk without the happy buzz.

Mum took me out and bought me a glucose meter, should have had one all along. I was down to "decent" before breakfast this morning. And now am back up to "not so hot but not as bad as last night.". It's going to take a couple of days to get this back under control. All thanks to a double double.

I had an appointment at 8am to deal with the windshield [read: get a new one] but somehow re-set my alarm in the middle of the night. I know I set it because I double checked before bed. So at 8:30 I fly out of the parking garage and head out to Kanata.

They still had a spot and could still get it done by noon, so I'm back in business.

Right now it's 10 after 10 and I'm sitting in a random Tim's writing this on my now fully functional crackberry.

Cross my fingers and hope things get better, I need to grocery shop.
