The first 3 weeks of school have gone pretty well. It's kept me busy, which is why I haven't been around for the last month. I'm enjoying having only 17 kids in the room. We get so much more done! The kids are pretty good for the most part and I'm finding teaching more fun and much easier this year. This was our first 3 day weekend and I'm grateful. It came at a very convenient time. I've spent the majority of it being sick. Yes, again. It's the usual: congestion, coughing, soreness from the coughing, headaches, and generally being tired. It sucks. I was hoping to be over this. After last year there's no way I want to go through this again. So, I'm calling the doctor on Tuesday. Try to head this off early. I should also be getting a summary report on the mold check and air quality control that I requested the school perform on my classroom. We'll see what they find. Anyhow, 3 days of rest and medication have made me feel better. Even if my head is a little fuzzy.
