Hello all...or one. One for all? Yeah, that sounds good. We'll go with that.
So I recently purchased an adapter that will allow me to connect my 2008 model MacBook to my new 32" HDTV that I received for Christmas. I was quite exuberant when my mum agreed to purchase it for me, let me tell you. As I am. Obviously.
It turns out that the first one I bought from Amazon was the wrong one; it was ideal only for those MacBooks purchased from mid-2010 onward. Unfortunately, as I said, I have a 2008 model which was given to me as a graduation gift.
So I returned that one--the results of the return are still pending; in fact, I doubt that the return has actually made it to Amazon yet--and purchased the adapter that would rightly fit my MacBook. For those who care, it was a mini-DVI to HDMI that I needed, not a mini-DisplayPort to HDMI, which I initially thought.
But now I have it all set up and am using my new 32" HD monitor. I also bought the Apple Wireless Keyboard and am using it in sync with my Apple Magic Mouse that I received last Christmas. It's quite brilliant. Well, they all are. My new two favourite brands are Vizio and Apple. Well, I've always loved Apple ever since I purchased my first iPod. I don't think I'll ever buy any other brand of computer, TV, music/media player, or phone. Now that's brand loyalty. Ha.
In other news, I have been heavy in to rewatching my favourite TV programmes, and reading manga again. I've been reading InuYasha most of all, but also a few others. I've also been watching InuYasha again. I never really followed the show while it was on the air. It has nearly two hundred episodes, I believe. I watched the first series of Digimon: Digital Monsters again, which is my all-time absolute favourite anime. It makes me want to look up Pokémon and see if I can get into that. I like the games, for the most part, but they eventually bore me with their redundancy.
I've also been watching House again because I was able to purchase the latest two series for a total of thirty bucks. (Even though I'm boycotting Target by not shopping there, that doesn't mean I can't take advantage of the sales the store is having.) I recently got back the two series of LOST that I let my friend borrow, so I will probably begin watching that again. I ordered series 5 of that online for fifteen bucks, but it's taking an abnormally long time to reach its destination.
Well, my life is boring, and I doubt anyone will read this.
lunawho if you do, thanks. :) I just wanted to take my new keyboard out for a test drive. Blog at you later!
