So my body has limitations. My shoulder mobility is really limited due to a mix of bad posture and musculature of my back (thanks, rock climbing). This means there are just certain moves that I have a really difficult time getting into without near physical pain. Even my handstand is hitting a wall because I am unable to get my arms truly straight. The good news is that I can get into some semblance of the right position. A few months ago I couldn't even kick up into it.
My bridge has progressed nicely. I used to be the arc de triomphe, no arch at all. With steady practice once or twice a week, I can get into the position now without the assistance of the teacher and I can actually hold it. Imagine what would happen if I actually tried stretching every day or at least every other day.
Splits are hopeless, though my front splits are less tragic than my side splits.
