Snow and Thunder Storms!
Last night we got dumped on big time - at least 2 feet of the white stuff! Thankfully it was pretty light and fluffy and easy to clear. It's the 2rd snow storm to hit us since last Thursday. Along with the snow we had both thunder and lightning. Now that's something that you don't get very often. Since I live a fair distance from my work I worked from home last Friday and both yesterday and today. I did start out this morning but traffic was absolutely crawling and I decided I would get a lot more done from my desk at home than wasting time travelling.
I didn't get to ringette practice last night because of the storm but I got lots of practice last weekend. I was goal for a ringette game on Saturday morning and again for a practice session on Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon I played defence (hockey) and had to miss the last period because of my wonky period. I had just finished it 2 days ago and it returned with a vengence! Sunday night I played goal again - this time for my other hockey team. We won 4 - 0. My first Shut Out!!!
We're going to Ottawa next weekend to see my daughter and familly. I haven't seen them since November. My grand daughter is getting so big and walking all over the place. (She will be a year in March) As it turns out my daughter's step-mom and her boyfriend will be visiting at the same time so we'll have to take turns. LOL! I hope the weather co-operates!
Hubby and I are going out this weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. I know it will be a blast! Can't wait. It's been too long since we've let loose!
