For tvrealm challenge 17: Create-A-Show
Slayers. A spin off of the popular Joss Whedon shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Slayers picks up after the fall of Sunnydale and shortly after the reformation of the Watcher's Council (ignoring current comic book canon). Slayers focuses on a small group set to protect the city of St. Louis from rogue werewolves, ancient vampires and creepy necromancers (oh my) all while trying to maintain their cover as a low brow antiques store/pawn shop.
Main Pairings:
Lexi/Amita with light flirty UST Jonas/Tamal.
Main plot would be the settling of our five man group, ranging from chore rotation to who's in charge of the armory. Overall arc would be working on a peacful resolution to the rogue werewolf pack.
Secondary plot points would be a constant "terf war" with the video game store next door and Jonas' inherant distrust of the Watcher's Council new and old.
Jason Momoa as Jonas Kendall
Watcher. The son of a watcher and an uncalled potential. Left the previous council when his mother and father were killed during an unsanctioned vampire hunt. One of the first watchers recruited by the new Watchers Council, he is still wary of getting too attached to either of his slayers.
Dichen Lachman as Alexis 'Lexi' Andrews
Slayer. Former band geek, Lexi has taken to being a slayer like a duck to water. Loves research almost as much as prowling through cemetaries. Has the hots for Amita but so far has been too shy to actually do anything about it.
Valarie Rae Miller as Melody Hunter
Slayer. Youngest member of the team and resents being treated like the baby of the group. Though she does miss her 'normal' life, she finds the idea of saving the world to be kinda cool.
Agam Darshi as Amita Parikh
Witch. Unlike most other council witches Amita primarily uses her powers only when all other options have been exausted. Is completely oblivious to Lexi's feelings dispite being equally attracted. Something the rest of the gang find quite amusing.
Kristin Kreuk as Tamal Madigan
Wan-Shang Dhole Demon. Fun loving party girl that prefers to spend time in her human form, but can shift into her natural form of a large dog like biped with long sharp claws. Can speak 7 languages and is a chinese folklore buff. Tends to be underestimated by the bad guys due to her smaller size in her human form.
