I saw Pirates of the Carribean 3 and I noticed something which is clearly a reference to Doctor Who..
There is a scene where Elzabeth Swann is told to remove her outer clothes and put all her weapons down. She pulls out a huge gun from behind her back and throws it on the table. You can see Barbossa looking at her, as if to say 'Where was she hiding that?' It's definitely a nod to Captain Jack Harkness.
ETA: Oh and here be a couple of Doctor Who cat macros that I whipped up. Contains spoilers from Parting of the Ways, Christmas Invasion, Utopia and, bizzarely, Pirates of the Carribean.
