day 3 of 3
Yay! I finally can go to sleep when it's DARK outside! Seriously, you don't know how hard it is to sleep during the daytime when traffic is outside your window, people are mowing lawns, or the garbage truck comes by, etc! I'm glad I'm done with that for now!
So... YOUTUBE! Woah... I actually got sucked into that because of the previous day. And now, I'm in some sort of PGSM (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon) mood. *blinks* I was able to watch the episode that I hadn't - Act Zero - which I was cracking up at (e.g. the Shitennou are hilarious!) and am reminded on how CAMPY it is... but oh well... these are my recommendations (as I thought they were nicely done):
Slipped Away - The Avril Lavigne song with clips about Mars' and Venus' friendship. Sure, some people think slash, but I only see it as friendship - and when Venus dies and Mars gets gloomy and angry, I see parallels there when Kat killed Charlie *cough* and Jackie got depressed.
Because of You - The Kelly Clarkson song with clips about Mars' relationship with her father (Keiko!). And if you actually read the subtitles, it fits (unlike most music videos were we only have to pay attention to facial expression and whatnot).
Breakaway - ah, yes, another Kelly Clarkson song with clips about Sailor Moon (Usagi).
Crush - The Mandy Moore song with clips about Moon/Mask's relationship. In the series, Tuxedo Mask (Mamoru) is kind of a jerk (I agree with sevarem as he was in the anime series - although he did get better in the third series) but she still falls for him and he realizes he likes her too. I didn't really like their relationship in this series, but I thought the music video was good.
And then a user decided to redo the intro credits, which I found amusing/hilarious and actually pretty good too:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer - still PGSM but the way he cut it, it doesn't seem as campy as it was!
Smallville theme - hahaha... I think the BtVS was better, but this one was funny too!
Sailor Stars - hahaha, Allie! They use the Anime Stars season music for it and it sorta parallels it, if you remember the series.
I also made some Icons for my F-LIST! *squee!* So... Happy Holidays!
