Random Thoughts

*grumble* I really am trying to post... to make it 3 days in a row now, but I really am boring and I can't think of anything really interesting to say. ^_~

I feel a bit better today (versus several days ago) but not quite in my happy mood yet...

Job Update: I am going to probably interview with the other company in mid-June. The thing is that the supervisor told me that it's about an hour interview, plus an hour-or-so test, so plan on spending two to two-and-a-half hours there... TEST? I haven't taken a test in a LOOOOOONG time! So now I'm scared. What if I don't remember everything? Sure, I remember some things, but since I graduated from school, my clinical knowledge has kinda seeped away (you lose it if you don't use it -type thing) and I'm afraid - what if I fail? And if that happens, would he call my current supervisor and say I'm a doofus? Because in reality, my current supervisor and this other company's supervisor - they KNOW each other! They go GOLFING! and whatever! It's a "small" scientific community, I guess. Your reputation precedes you. Yes, I have a pretty good one at my current job - hard-worker, no complaints, everyone 'likes' me (or at least, no one has said anything bad about me or my performance)... but if I fail the TEST, will I be the laughing stock now? AAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

RPG Update: It seems okay... (hence, my somewhat better mood but still dang that over-sensitivity issue!) but no email reply (which probably just means it was ALL in my HEAD!). Waiting for a couple more comments probably to close the thread. Not the most fun I've had, but *shrug* trying not to THINK. If anyone actually wants to read the "thread"/story, please do (link: here) as I'd like unbiased opinions. Probably, you'll all say it's in my HEAD.

Other Randomness: TV

I watched a bit of Wonder Woman season 2 and season 3 on dvd. I have to say, season 1 was the best. And for some reason, I am now thinking that she was the precursor to the Baywatch babes - running in bathing suits. Naturally, Wonder Woman did not run in slow motion, but Linda Carter did have a nice figure, so... I think the producers just made her run around to *cough* accent *cough* her attributes.

Alias - I have to go watch this week's episode (I recorded it because I didn't catch it when it was showing). But I am sad that they killed off Renee last week. She kicked arse! (And I liked her more than Sidney.) I didn't so much mind Nadia's untimely demise, but Renee? That just sucked! My sister already told me what happened in this week's episode, but I don't care - I'll still watch it... if only for Sark.

Will & Grace - for its last season, it really doesn't seem like it's going out on a BANG.

Veronica Mars - SQUEE!!!!! I was sad that Logan broke Veronica's heart a couple weeks ago, but the finale just made up for it! Of course, they leave a semi-small-cliffhanger-ish ending (which I don't mind too much, because I don't think I'll be itching in anticipation for next season's premiere, although I am wondering what new plot will be in store since they did Lilly Kane's murder (nicely wrapped up), the bus bombing, the mayor angle, and all that...). Is Kendall coming back next season? I heard they're trying to sign Mac on as a permanent cast member (rather than semi-regular) which would be so cool (anyone reminded of a pre-witch Willow in Buffy's early seasons?). I don't think they'd have Duncan returning, since he's a fugitive, but who knows? Stranger things have happened in Neptune.

NCIS - yes, I still have to watch the episode. Probably will watch it with Alias.

Movies: I borrowed Pirates of the Caribbean, and maybe it's just me - but I didn't get 'into' it (so I didn't finish it). Maybe I need to watch it again later...
