Some internet cleaning
Today something prompted me to google my real name and my internet nickname to see what can be found. Thankfully my real name provided nothing embarrassing and wasn't in any suspicious sites. Or at least not too many and the couple odd sites that had it had nothing else on them, so it was pretty much like people search with no results. So if someone googles my name they'll only find out that I'm active in politics, I've graduated from High School, I sell crafts and I have a facebook account. Good.
My internet nick, Jadeile, on the other hand found some more stuff.
-Of course there were all my sites and some blog posts and comments I've done and such. The most important ones were lined up as the first results too, awesome.
-Then I found some old stuff that didn't need to exist, like some forums I was in that were long dead (couldn't even delete my account in most of them, so I just deleted my profile info), some old websites I had nothing to do with anymore (account deletion there too) and so on.
-Then there was some annoying Jade Ile -thing that kept popping up and had some foreign language attached to it. But it has nothing to do with me, so whatever. Then some Jade Isle, pfft :D Nothing to do with me though, so ignored it.
-Then... there were surprisingly many video sites that had my videos in them. Had no clue there were that many nowadays. But they all just listed my videos and the videos itself were hosted by my youtube account instead of having been actually uploaded to some strange site by some impersonator, so I don't mind much. Btw, the only video sites I actually belong to and have uploaded my videos to are youtube and vimeo. I used to have veoh account too but I deleted it today. And used to have megavideo account but that site is dead. So anywhere else is not me.
-The most bothersome thing is that there's some foreign boy whose actual name (I think) seems to be Jadeile Edo, so he goes by Jadeile in some places. And there was two other Jadeiles who weren't me, like some horse game person and some random blogger. Thankfully they seemed to only use the name in said places instead of everywhere ever (possibly because I'm Jadeile everywhere ever so it's taken in a good few places). For the record, my blog accounts are this one and tumblr (plus deviantart times two and fimfiction, but they're not primarily blogs). Anywhere else is not me. Though it's really pretty easy to tell if it's me or not, I usually link back and forth between my accounts.
