1, 2, 3...
It is going to be god-awfully hot in New York this week. I am not having it. Thank goodness I work in an air conditioned office. However, I still have to head back to my furnace of an apartment every night.
Saturday evening, I went out for drinks with my co-worker. We went to a bar/lounge on his street, and they had a pretty good show. I had a gin tonic, a mojito, another gin tonic, a sip of someone else's drink, and then Maker's Mark with soda. By the end of the night I was a bit tipsy. My tolerance isn't what it used to be.
On Sunday the AC was broken at my boutique, and I was melting. However, last minute, I made a $1300 sale, which was AMAZING. I have now set my personal best.
I've also began styling my hair back and away from my face. It helps in the heat to keep my hair away from my face, and the ladies at work say that it looks more genteel.
Oh, and I have an interview today. Fingers crossed!
