Weekend.
The last couple times J's been home, I feel like we've barely seen each other, so we'd set aside this Saturday to do absolutely nothing. We did have to do a Target run, but that didn't count, because as you all know, Target is my happy place. We also ran into my mom on the way there (behind us on the road, actually). They were doing a flu shot clinic at the store, and she offered to pay for J's shot, which was nice since we don't have insurance on him right now. I'm supposed to be getting a free shot sometime soon at work.
So after grabbing lunch at Panera, a pair of pants at Old Navy, and some groceries at Trader Joe's, we headed home and hung out for the rest of day for some quality time and our own Doctor Who marathon. :) I believe we ended up watching a total of 6 episodes (1 that I recorded Friday night, 5 off DVD from season 1). It was nice, it was quiet, and we got to just hang out and relax for a change and spend some time together. We also discovered the cat is still scared of the Doctor Who theme. This is quite awesome.
Then I had to get up at 4am to drive his butt to the airport for a 6am flight Sunday. Ugg.
