Even though it's Friday, I'm in an awful mood. Hopefully the day will go fast.
I realized last night driving home that lately I seem to email people and either not get a response or get one reply, then I answer and hear nothing else. I feel like an email-thread killer. Either that or multiple people are pissed off. Who freakin knows.
Had a spectacular fall last night. I hit something on the floor (later discovered to be a skate eyelet) and was right next to the wall. I went down in a heap, super fast, but actually kept enough control to NOT hit the cement block wall. Of course, somehow I kicked my forearm with my skate and have a lump that's probably turning into a bruise. I think I fell on my shoulder too: it feels a little knocked out of whack.
Missing practice when in Vegas has made things very painful. My back hates me again, and I feel like I've gone backwards a bit. Hopefully I'll readjust quickly.
After practice we were invited to the bowling alley & bar across the street. The owner offered to host our afterparty for the fundraiser (on the 27th, in case your forgot!) and it's a pretty nice place. He was friendly and welcoming, despite our stinky sweaty appearance. :)
