the kind of victory we're used to

i'm thinking that this journal won't see much use over the summer, see the website instead
what's new?
exam week went well overall, still don't have final stats for chinese writing though, and i couldn't over-reach myself on chinese poetry but it happens.
a few errors, but i'll get over it...everything burns less after 50 pages of a good book and a night's sleep
everything for the trip has been purchased, tomorrow we pack the bag
i met jeff's girlfriend julile, i like her, hope she's still there in august but i think that's a good chance...she's actually the little sister of two girls i knew in high school which is kind of funny
now through the first season of the "west wing," i suppose it's a good sign that the only thing about this summer i vaguely regret is the chance to watch all seven seasons and catch up on other tv shows...i'll have 3 weeks at christmas though mom says...and i'd feel worthless after 20 days straight probably anyways
friend time tomorrow, and that'll probably end up being it...should be lovely though :)
saw "spiderman 3" today, my one real summer blockbuster.  it was worth the 2 and a half hours, and i enjoyed it a lot.  the ending wasn't very definitive, but i liked it overall muchly.  it was rather spiffy on IMAX too.
what else...nothing much worth remembering
just love and trying to relax and working on the future
