so, today has been a pretty gosh darn good day all in all.
i slowly am regaining the ability to breathe through my nose. schenley had mashed potatoes for dinner today. i wasn't charged an overdue fine. my dad loved his birthday card. zhou laoshi told me i said my class names in chinese really well. moli high-fived me after our oral performance for chinese. i finished my chinese writing exercise in fifteen minutes. reem just sang the "tomorrow" song from annie substituting my name for tomorrow. i had a the world is pretty moment today walking to the library, the cerulean blue of the early evening sky with snowflakes and christmas lights on trees. i had a connection moment in chinese poetry with a tao chien poem. i had a really good conversation with michelle. i got a 104 on my magic, medicine, and science semi-midterm/big grade thing. i decided on my schedule for next term and got all the times, numbers, and professors checked out. i had a good conversation with mom about why i'd do a fifth year if it's advisable that was a real ego boost. i discussed archaeology and the world with klinduff for 40 minutes this morning and got a lot of new ideas and three new people to contact. i am honors chancellors convocation honoree and my parents are going to come up next friday to see me at the ceremony and spend the day with me. the chinese film festival is this weekend. and i still have time to get things done before my two big midterm papers start in.
oh, and i can actually watch "heroes" tonight and eat my last heart cookie from graeters. and wednesday is a special episode of bones that looks awesome. and i'm just really happy with things.
