Massage is a good goal I think. I'd say also look into not just BSM but also see if there are places that offer 2 year associates degrees in it: it's a *degree* - yeah, an associates, but maybe better job prospects with it than 'only' with a certificate. Two years of school is an easier lump to swallow than 4, that's for sure! And *looking* at other options only broadens your base of choices, even if you do truly decide you want BSM.
Work is good so long as it doesn't tear you apart - and I mean that either physically OR mentally OR emotionally. It sounds like mentally & emotionally are okay, but physically it's not good. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!! If you're working so hard that you don't get the chance to eat, it's no wonder you're skinny! (a note here: my brother gained healthy weight when he went vegetarian, mostly though because it made him more conscious of what he was eating - making a deliberate effort to have a balanced diet.) The worst part is, neither state nore federal law require your employer to give you any breaks whatsoever. But hopefully your boss will be reasonable and know that if you don't eat, you *will* get sick!
Smoogles!
