"adria, I just threw my trash in your villa!"
Haven't seen him in a month.. A handful of one word texts is all I've had. The longer the month goes, the more I see this situation as unchanging.
Anyone who knows me is benefiting from this though! I've gone into my usual crazy bake mode. Last ten days I've made:
Keylime pie
Peanut butter chocolate chip cookies
Cranberry swirl cheesecake
Banana bread
Cranberry gingerbread upside down cake
Vanilla sugar
Vanilla cupcakes with lemon curd and butter cream frosting
I am a woman possessed.. Most of what I made DOES have a purpose though.. family birthday stuff, Thanksgiving, "adria says cheer up!" cookies..
Work has been much, much, much better. Now that I've got Amy in the kitchen with me, I have so much more help that I actually enjoy my job again. Who knew! She's awesome and we get along really well. With the two of us, we've got a fully functional restaurant going. It's a good change, as we've been getting more and more busy. The old system and amounts aren't even CLOSE to what we need daily. An average day now is 1,500 which for only being open 4 hours a day is pretty impressive.
Meh. I'm using distraction as a method, which kind of works. Worsens it that he can *say* it has nothing to do with me but why go from seeing each other on a normal basis to absolutely nothing.
