Check, check and check.

I'm glad that I didn't get burnt in Mexico because now I have an even, pretty tan that I like! :) The girls teased me to death when I limited myself to about 40-45 minutes of sunbathing everyday but hey, a girl has got to be cautious about getting wrinkles! I don't care what the SPF is on a bottle of sunblock, too much sun just isn't good for you. Heck, too much of anything isn't good for you.

Speaking of which, I worked way too much this week to make up for last week as well as pick up after some coworkers who were nonchalant and negligent on important things while I was gone. I find the irresponsible ones hide behind the time zone differences instead of positively taking advantage of what could be an extended work day. They take a long time responding to emails, and avoid answering phone calls or accepting meeting requests that are slightly outside of their normal business hours. Their work habits caused me to sacrifice a whole lot of sleep this week. Well, my WW director will be in town next week and I have a business case for international travel. Trust me, I prefer not traveling right now. But if I can get the budget, it'll be good to bring everyone from the 8 different time zones together for a face to face meeting. From my experience, it's harder for ppl to ignore each other after having met one another.

Today I had plans to be in NYC but since I felt rather feverish and had schoolwork to finish up this weekend, I passed on Saturday and opted to meet them for brunch tomorrow instead. Despite having wasted a bit of time chit chatting and watching tv, I actually got quite a lot done: taxes, check; bills, check; research paper, check; studied for a midterm, check; contacted and scheduled to see 3 different apts next week, check; groceries, check; a whole lot of laundry, check; and a clean apt, check! =) yeah I'm good.
