Rambling, disjointed impressions time!
This game is just... wow. Story is simple but intriguing so far (only up to Facade). The banter between the characters (Nier and Weiss in particular) is awesome. Gameplay is kind of meh until you get to a boss fight, which have been some of the most fun I've had in ages. And the soundtrack... OH MY GOD, THE SOUNDTRACK. This is almost certainly the best video game OST of all time. The first thing I did after my first play session was go and order and copy of the soundtrack. Seriously, it is amazing and with it being $15.99 on iTunes, you all should go buy it too!
In short, I am in love with this game and consider it $60 well spent. Note: I would not say the same thing about Final Fantasy XIII.
