Hopefully, this only affects new accounts because I just checked and neither my credit card or my debit card issuers participate in these programs. So, if I'm not longer able to play FF11 after today, this would be why. Bloody fucking hell...
EDIT: Sooooo my credit card issuer (Bank of America) says that all of their credit cards get Verified by Visa status free...but when I try registering it with the Verified by Visa site, it tells me my card is ineligible. Yeah, gonna be makin' phone calls tomorrow...
