Shitsticks
Right, so I was doing great on my SO3 game till tonight. Yesterday, I accidentally knocked the PS2 while doing the bunny races, the game continued as normal and nothing seemed wrong, though when I took the disc out to examine it, there were a few minor scratches on it that weren't there before. I though the damage was minor and wouldn't be a problem until tonight, when I was leaving Sphere 211 for Styx. The disc would not load the scene where the party arrives on Styx; I got "loading from the disc" messages for a few minutes both times I tried. Event skip didn't help, either. Looks like I'm going to have to find out where I can get my disc resurfaced. Anyone know any places that do this offhand?
But yeah, other than that, things were going pretty well. I got my "Defeat Albel 2 with items only" trophy. The enemies in Sphere 211 were giving me a lot of trouble because not only do the tanks and soldiers do MP damage, their attacks also juggle/stunlock, so that you can't do anything. Deaths were common and I was going through Analeptics and Fresh Sage very quickly.
In happier news, I got my hands on the next Vampire Hunter D novel, as well as Persona 3 since everyone's been raving about it. Ha, my gaming backlog is so huge right now. Seriously. Over a dozen games on the "to play" list. And .hack//G.U. Vol. 3 and Growlanser: Heritage of War come out in less than a month and then there's the PSP Castlevania, too... But then, I'm going to need something to keep myself occupied until I can afford a next gen system.
