heatwave
So heat indexes have been 107 degrees here. Much hotter in my apartment I assure you. A couple nights ago it was 113 in here and super humid. I haven't looked tonight. I left a plastic cup in my car while I was in work and it melted.
After tomorrow's blast furnace the heat should drop into the high 80s. Which will seem fairly tolerable after this hell. Even the cat is miserable. People are literally dropping dead in the streets.
So I haven't done much of anything lately. Two weeks and counting of this horrid weather. Mom offered for me to come sleep in the AC at the farm, but I thought it was too far to drive in my oven/car, and also with the chance of being stuck in place for a long time with the construction.
They promoted Emohair today to a position like mine, which I'm sure will mean even less hours.
S-boy, the deadbeat loser who owes me money for my car, came into my work but avoided me. I tried to call him and his phone was dead, and his mother hung up on me. He's about to get sued.
That made me really mad. I'm not in the mood to deal with crap in this heat.
