stupid car and good news?
So Dad finally got on the damn phone after a week so I could ask him what to do about the car whose hood refuses to shut, which makes driving places difficult. He tells me to pull the hood release lever as hard as I can, and tie it there while I fuss with the latch under the hood, which is stuck shut. Okayyyyy.
So I pull the hood release lever, and the thing breaks off in my hand. Great! Now what do I do?
I pull the frayed piece of cable left inside the car and the hood actually shut at last, I think. It could be frozen shut. Who knows what'll happen when I have to try and open it again.
No word on whether the water is safe to drink or use yet. I can't wash dishes really to cook anything.
I actually got praised at work yesterday. 0.O The new manager pulled me into the office =:O and told me the PHB and Ass.Man had told him I do a good job in the cash office and how trustworthy I was. Wow! @'_'@
Five people are quitting this week. That's a lot when you only have about 30 people at your company.
And the best news of allllllll---PSYCHOBITCH IS QUITTING!!!!! At last!!!!!!!!!!! YAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!
I like this Kenshin AMV--they really put a story together for it, how the girl meets this guy and he's so nice, and she's sweet on him, but his bad past is catching up with him and they struggle to survive and stay together. Whoever did it cut the clips well and this song has been in my head all day so I'm posting it.
