The Rurouni Kenshin fandom has many stories of Kaoru and Kenshin's first time together. You'd think a girl as bold as Kaoru would, you know, take charge in at least one of them, but no. I haven't found a one. This one fic...OMG it made me so mad. This so-called writer....basically has Kenshin telling his new and young 18/19 year old wife that he prolly can't get it up on their first night together, cause he's so old (28), and men when they get that old have trouble getting it up (a whole 28 fucking years old, that's like three WHOLE decades) and keeping it there. Cause he's 28, and so fucking old sex might give him a heart attack. No matter that the running joke in the manga is people mistaking him for a teenager, he'll be using a walker soon. Okay, he *is* 30 in canon I think when he actually gets married to Kaoru, but in that fic I think he was still 28.
And I think he finished before her and she went to sleep without ever getting off, and that pissed me off too. Sure that's realistic, and real life men usually suck, but KENSHIN could never be that insensitive or callow towards her.
I just want to beat that dumb writer over the head "Being twenty-eight does not make you geriatric!" *BAM BAM MAIM BAM!*
