(no subject)
I looked outside before eight am and it was a winter wonderland. I thought it was raining all night, but it was water dripping off the roof. There was quite a bit of snow out there outlining every branch, twig, and blade of grass. There was at least three inches out there, but it was pretty warm most of the night so most of it could have melted before it started to stick.
Sounds like they got about nine inches out near the parents. I didn't get to to talk to them today, but I hope they have power. They just said on the news that the wet snow pulled a lot of trees down and power lines.
Watching the Terminator tv show--I keep thinking what if John Connor was not the first? What if something had happened to each of her sons, so she just got pregnant again and named the kid John each time (like Kenny on South Park)? I'm sure there's a fanfic out there with that scenario.
I had nightmares last night but was pleased when I woke up each time to find the kitty pressed snugly against my side. Miriel-kitty has suddenly become aware of the computer screen and the tv--so everytime I watch something, she's there growling and hissing at the screens like a moron. I can imagine the look Ms. B would be giving her. Dumb dumb dumb!
(Using the Rachel in the snow icon for this--she looks pretty good for being an ancient arabian in her mid-twenties, and in deep muck. It was sunny and she was frisking around and feeling good.)
