.The lowdown: LOST, Grey's, Ugly Betty, and why not, House, are all interconnected...somehow.
If Lost and Grey's combined into one show, Meredith would have an opening monologue like, "As surgeons on a sci-fi island, we often have to deal with smoke monsters, gun shot wounds, crappy medical equipment, and disappearing islands. This is exactly like my relationship/mother/father/intern/resident drama." Mer and Der get married. Go on honeymoon. Crash onto the island. Jack, back in the US, discovers that he has a crazy brain tumor that causes him to not want to shave. Only person that can cure it? His long lost brother, Derrick, using his clinical trial technique...that's why he has to go back. How does Jack find his crazy brain tumor? House diagnoses him...he seems to have a slight problem with shaving, so his lackies think he may have the same disease as Jack. gasp. Meanwhile, Gabriella and Troy and crew from High School Musical go on a special trip to Australia to celebrate the end of their senior year, but they are on a plane with Jack etc and John Locke's body. They inspire the Losties and the Others to sing and dance through the rest of season 5. Last, Betty is sitting at home when she sees on tv that her cousin, Hugo/ Hurley is alive! She visits him in the mental hospital, where hurley tells her the truth. Sayid finds out and forces Betty to go along with them...and she brings Daniel and her family. Wilhemina sneaks on and takes over the whole island. While there, they hear about Charles Widmore...and then see a picture of him. Wait...that's Bradford Meade!! They find out that Daniel Faraday, Daniel Meade, and Penny Widmore are all related...and aren't meant to be on the island. How will they get off to save themselves and the other LOSTies?
