GameSpot is insane if they think those game movies are HD quality. I watched the full-screen, HD-quality Serenity trailer in QT7 last night: that was HD quality. Filled perfectly my dad's cinema display, absolutely no stretching; full screen mode simply blacked out the desktop and centered the movie. It was really gorgeous. Then I download one of GS' sample movies to see what they're going on about. First off, it was a bloody .wmv. I hate those things with a passion; lousy, lousy, lousy quality without fail. Sure enough, when I watched it, it was nowhere near what QT7 gives you using the H.264 codec. So I repeat: GameSpot is insane.
