(500) Days of Summer
I finally got to see (500) Days of Summer this past weekend. I've always been a Zooey Deschanel fan so I knew I'd immediately love it and I did.
It was actually better than I thought it would be. There were some great movie making scenes in it like the infamous "expectations vs. reality" scene. Even though you go into the movie knowing it won't have a happy ending (I always love those movies personally), I was still shocked by a couple scenes. I felt my heart break because you do genuinely like these characters and want to see them end up together. That just goes to show how involved you get which is a big indicator of a good movie for me. I didn't like it as much as Lars and the Real Girl or Little Miss Sunshine, but I thought it was a great movie and will definitely get it on DVD. And of course it had a wonderful soundtrack.
