Day at the Beach
Saturday Mike, Scarlett and I all headed to the beach for a quick photoshoot. Scarlett had on her new Dolluxe bikini so she wanted to show it off. I decided to go to Point Dume in Malibu since it had rock climbing, tide pools and seemed more secluded. There were quite a few people there unfortunately but most were taking pictures too. There was a wedding ceremony going on, rock climbers and a lady with a shawl having some pictures taken so I didn't feel like the only weirdo photographing a doll. I got all set up in this one spot near the rocks only to be moved from upcoming waters. Mike was supposed to be my lookout but one wave came up on us so quickly...I only had two things pop in my head: CAMERA. DOLL. Everything else got drenched but all I cared about was my camera and my doll. It was quite funny actually. A little while later one of the girls with the rock climbers came over to ask if I was the one who took the infamous doll pictures...she thought I was Gina Garan. *heh* I told her I wasn't of course, but that I had met her and seen her studio. She asked if it was the same doll and I said it was...it was just so cool to run into someone that knew of them. :)
So we got our shots and watched the sunset. It was a lovely time. :)
