Thought I really needed to blog about this.
Desmond and I are one month away from our 4th year together (technically our 5th year of dating) and our relationship has been through it's ups and it's downs (as relationships normally would) and it has thought us so much, and we grow to love each other more everyday.
Save for the complicated situation a year ago, Desmond has been nothing short of a loving, doting, selfless, supportive & encouraging boyfriend. I would very much prefer to refer to him as my life partner now, because the term boyfriend sounds so.... Frivalous (what with all the brief & casual relationships I've come to hear about - not judging anyone).
What I really appreciate is how expresses his love for me. He really goes all out. Not by swiping his credit card to check out an item I want but do not need, but instead, by the effort he puts into our relationship. Last month especially, I would wake up to breakfast almost every morning. This gesture was extremely thoughtful because I used to have terrible gastric in my morning classes probably because I er..... Was hungry.
And just today, on the morning of a very important presentation I had to make in school, he cooked porridge for me at 5AM. And he made sure I got ready immediately instead of going back to sleep. This is really appreciate so much too. He really takes care of me.
So yeah, I don't know what I have done to deserve such a loving boyfriend, but he definitely makes me feel worth it.
