so life is pretty good lately. Teague got a job at pasta pasta so now we both have two jobs, and at the same two places. It seems weird to a lot of people but it actually works out well. He's a cook at culvers and I'm up front, at pasta pasta I'm a cook and he's a disher so we're together but not side by side all day. It's cool 'cause we can sneak a make out session in the middle of the day. :) Definitely makes work better.
The other night was fun, Teague and I went out to boomerangs to drink a bit and play pool, then us and Chris Bell went and met Jon and Steph at Firehouse. We drank a pitcher and went to East Hall to hang out, smoke and see the view. I've always loved East Hall, at night it's great because there aren't any students and you can see the whole city. If there were a make out point in kzoo, that'd be it. It's actually where teague proposed. :) But it was cold and everyone was not in the mood to hang out so we had to leave. I could have stayed there all night. It's calming, I don't know why.
We went to adam's, teague went to bed, but chris and I joined steph and jon over there. I got to hang out with jon for a while which I hardly ever get to do anymore. He's a busy guy. I love that we're still close friends, I can tell him anything and he won't judge me 'cause we dated for so long that he knows me really well. He's a good guy and sometimes I miss hanging out, it's weird with our situation sometimes because I'm married to one of his friends and he's got this great relationship going on. The main thing to worry about is not pissing off steph or teague. So far they're both so cool with it because they realize it's been about 2 years since jon and I got together in a more than friends kind of way. I love the kid but we're totally wrong for eachother. But I like that we can still hang out anyway. :)
So it's also cool that jon's dating someone I like, steph's a cool chick and I usually don't hang with girls. I'm not hateful towards my own gender, but I find it hard to hang out with the girls. It's just hard since I'm not into drama, the cattiness has never really done it for me. But steph's fun to party with, it's nice for sure.
Today went well at work, we've been so busy lately, pasta pasta is basically like the cool restaurant in town that not everyone knows about. But word is getting out and now we're full all weekend, it definitely makes work go by so much faster.
