i'm off work tomorrow.
this morning, while i was getting ready for work, my grandmother came in and gave me a bracelet. she bought it in arkansas. i didn't even know she'd been in arkansas. "you know those little places you just feel like you ought to buy something? i got you this."
it's very pretty. she also told me i could give it away if i didn't like it. as if i wouldn't want it!
earlier today, i took an order for a dozen roses entirely in spanish. it was terrifying and very confusing. i managed though, with some help from tomasa, who also doesn't speak english. i'm quite proud of myself, despite the stumbling.
i don't have to work tomorrow, but i'll be here on friday and saturday. ugh.
