WoW: If Azeroth had a lottery, I'd be playing it right now.

Apparently, I belong to the Horde.

See, after quitting my Alliance guild, I had trouble finding reasons to play my hunter. I wanted to play a hunter, but I didn't want to go Alliance side to play him. So, after talking it over with my RP partner, we decided to faction change.

My first night as a troll, my friend and I ran Sethekk Halls, and we got to Anzu she told me, "Take it."

This was Friday night (September 7). Saturday afternoon, my copy of Tides of War arrived and I decided to read it while I camped Magria. Three hours and a few pages later...

I was so happy I didn't even re-equip my armor or close the NPCScan pop-up before taking a screenshot. Then, last night and tonight, with my new guild I ran Dragon Soul 10-man normal with my also-recently-faction-changed shaman. Until last night I'd never healed anything more complicated than an Hour of Twilight instance. So...this happened:

(Yeah, yeah, we had one wipe on the Spine.) I'm actually almost a little disappointed to not get the achievements on Folami, first, but I knew when I made the offer to heal I'd likely be seeing more time as a healer first. Maybe I can get Folami in on another/a heroic run at some point. The title "Destroyer's End" is account wide, but it feels like cheating to give it to Folami (yes, I'm silly), but it does, at least, look awesome on Manisha.

I joked to my pal that I was feeling lucky, so we teamed up and hit Sethekk for her and then Magister's Terrace. Both times we came up bumpkiss, but I said, "I'm tempted to hop on Folami and run 'em again if you're game with your alt." She agreed and again Anzu refused to drop his reins for her, and so we headed to Kael'thas. Once we reached him, I told Kael'thas I stole his balls. Then, I went to loot the corpse and I think I had to stifle a yelp.

"Take it, go on."

"...I can't!"

"Take it!"

When Mists hits, I will never win another roll. Ever.

And I have a standing deal with my friend to keep her company on as many runs of Sethekk and Magister's Terrace as it takes to get her the two mounts. It's the least I can do for her as she's stuck by me through guild drama, a faction change that altered our paired characters, and lets me vent to her quite a bit. Maybe this lucky streak of mine will rub off on her now.
