i am twenty years of age which i hear is a fascinating and invigorating age to be

today i bought two hundred and fifty dog tags with poetic words on them and i will wear a different poem around my neck each day

except for one poem which i have given away. i believe that this is beautiful because with the medium i have chosen, i will literally never be able to use the words again once i have given them

and since one is "we" and one is "are," this is significant

i enjoy being twenty because i have narrowly escaped the teenage stigma. i believe that i will adore living in greenwich village very much; this wonderful man told me to look outside at the moon when i left a store because he swore that it was smiling.

new york is interesting because it has this reputation of being laden with the devastatingly bizarre, and when people visit only briefly they believe that this is an exaggeration, but then when one actually lives here, one realizes that it was true all along

and invitingly so

i want nothing more than to float with you

i am wearing all of my sentimental articles

wouldn't it be divine, if sentences could wear all of their sentimental articles?

i am reading at a pleasantly prestigious poetry reading hosted by my college campus in the spring and i would like to compose something progressive and utterly heart wrenching

i am reading 'the prophet' in its entirety, finally
