Shuttle Launches at 21:20 EST

UPDATE: The Launch was scrubbed for a fuel leak in the plumbing that was fueling the shuttle's external tank. Tentatively rescheduled for 2045 tomorrow evening. We're gonna try again tomorrow!

Summer and I are cutting out of work an hour or so early today to drive down to Titusville for what will be one of the final Shuttle launches ever, and could possibly be the final night time launch. Seeing a Shuttle launch, specifically a night time launch, has been a long time dream of mine that constantly got put off due to things like time and money. I think that having waited, and knowing that this is one of the last, will make this experience all that more special to me. I am VERY excited.

So, if you're interested, and live in Florida, I would recommend pointing your eyes to the East, towards Cape Canaveral, tonight around 920.

Also, there's a new post over at the Beard that's related to this: http://howmanybeards.blogspot.com
