you know, after thinking about it for a couple days, i am actually really excited about our prospective place and i can deal with the commute. (hey, have i mentioned the bus stop's near a coffee house?) with the money i save from living in queens, i can start saving for real furniture and then a car, so i can come visit you people on road trips (including mr. stupid face and his family :P). i think it will be good to have long term goals again that i can feel like im making small progress towards and a car is more practical in queens than brooklyn. parking is still a nightmare, but slightly less of a nightmare since people have actual houses there (the place were trying for is actually the second story of a private family home, the people below us are an italian grandma and her daughter and granddaughter and unlike current place new place is big enough for 2 extra rooms for company, so come visit us peeps).
