Last time on the Lilac Legacy: Lavender met her boytoy at the pool, agonized about jellyfish, took Alain to the art gallery and asked if he would move in with her, "got freaky" without SimOverlady's consent, celebrated her birthday, and Alain finally proposed marriage, to which she said "alsdkjfasd" [yes].

Lavender: It was meant to be, why would I be- *hurc* Oh... I think I may throw up.
The guests were arriving, and Lavender's father made a bee line for Alain.
Mr. Lilac: Look kid. I don't know you, but to me, Lavender will always be my little girl. She's my only child and I want to make damned sure she gets taken care of. Capiche?
Alain: Yes sir. I will sir. Please don't worry sir.

Alain: Your dad scares me... didn't you say he was a dentist?
Lavender: Yeah, but before that he was in the Marines. Not many boys made it first base with me before my dad broke a limb or two...

Guest: I wish my dad had broken boy's bones when they hit on me. Now I'm just easy. *sniffle*

I'm not going to lie, I was a little emotional during the ceremony.

I really put a lot of work into the house this time and am pretty much happy with how it looks, especially Lavender and Alain's room and the nursery. Now I just have to figure out how to break the news to Alain.
Fox: Hey Alain, you delicious topless elf man you.
Alain: Hey Fox!
Fox: I see that you're just relaxing on the couch playing some video games and minding your own business, how nice, that's lovely, your wife is pregnant.
Alain: Wait what?!

Lavender: I hope you're not upset, I know things are moving really fast.
Alain: Are you kidding me? This is amazing! I'm going to call my folks right now.
Lavender: Me too! Who needs to get dressed at a time like this!

Winston is the Lilac's fake cat. Why is there a fake cat? Because I don't have the pet expansion yet.
Alain: Mom? It's Alain. I'm going to be a father! Oh... well I got married. Yes, I was dating someone! What do you mean I didn't tell you...
After an hour long discussion with Alain's mother about how he had dated, moved in with, engaged, married, and knocked up a lady she had never met in the span of two weeks, the couple decided to get some rest.
Alain: zzz mum's going to kill me zzz
Around midnight... CREEPER!
Fox: Oh Mr Thief, didn't you learn your lesson?
Thief: I hear the red head just got hitched to some sissy elf boy, and that YOU didn't install a new alarm system when you redesigned the house.

The cuteness... it burns.
The next morning was Alain's birthday and Lav kept wandering around the bedroom doing this instead of getting ready. Somehow I didn't mind.

Lavender: THIS PLEASES THE SOON TO BE MOTHER VERY MUCH. CAKE NOW BEFORE I REGAIN MY SENSES AND REALIZE HOW HIDEOUS THIS DRESS IS.
Alain: Oh wow, it does tingle! Kind of like when Lavender does that thing with her-
Lavender: HONK. Cake or death, my husband. Cake or death.
After the party, Alain decided Lavender could do with some TLC and offered to rub her aching back.
Lavender: That's my bottom, dear.
Alain: Oh.. sorry.
Alain: Your mummy is going to kill me if I don't provide her with enough sweet treats, isn't that nice little dumpling?
Lavender: Speaking of, I could do with a nice Peanutbuster Parfet from DQ right now. Or else.

Thankfully Lavender still had the piece of mind to phone a cab and make it to the hospital in time. Alain however... was still at Dairy Queen and missed the entire thing.
