i need a roommate!... yes, again.
Ok guys... its that time again... I need a roommate. This time, its in the condo in Roslindale, and the lucky owner of this room gets two side-by-side rooms on his/her very own floor.
Anyone know anyone who's looking?
Here's the details:
$650/month includes heat and hot water and TWO good sized rooms + a closet in each on your OWN floor. Tenant at will lease. First and last required, no security, but you break it, you buy it.
Location: Just off Roslindale Square, away from the projects, in a safe, quiet neighborhood. 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants, etc and Roslindale Square T/Commuter Rail, 10 or 12 minutes to Back Bay from this stop, 10 minutes to Forrest Hills by bus. 5-10 minute drive to 128/95, Rt 1, and 5 minutes to the VFW Parkway or the Jamaica Way.
The place: Newly renovated 2nd AND 3rd floor condo in a 2-condo house. 2nd floor is laundry, storage closet, our office, living room, kitchen, bathroom, our bedroom. 3rd floor is yours…. 2 rooms, roughly 14 x 15 and about 9 x 12 with two good-sized closets. I'll be honest, the space is peaked since it's the top floor, but the headroom isn't bad. There is PLENTY of space up there, and central ac/heat is up there too.
Other info:
Nice, landscaped corner yard
Kitchen has a full-size stove and refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal etc.
Central Air/Heat in all rooms
Hardwood floors
Good natural light throughout
Ample on street parking (driveway spaces are taken, but no permit required for on-street parking)
The apartment is almost entirely furnished (I've always been the one to furnish the place so my
collection is growing), but we're open to change. (Of course, your rooms are empty and you can do pretty much anything up there!)
Laundry negotiable
What we're looking for in a roommate: Male or Female, friendly, respectful, GLBT friendly, clean, open minded, wants your space, but enjoys anything from the "how was your day conversation" to sharing an afterwork beer, frisbee, or meal together, likes and DOES pay your bills on time, and doesn't have pets. DRAMA FREE, enjoys bbqs and the occasional dinner party, drug/smoke free. Your other half is of course welcome.
